Winning Bid Secures Former Dormitory for a Whopping 71.7 Million Rubles
The highest bidder has emerged victorious, offering approximately 71.7 million rubles for the former dormitory located at Ordzhonikidze Street. Previously referred to by SuperOmsk, the old communal living quarters now finds a new owner.
After the 4th April 2025 auction for the sale of a building associated with Omsk State University named after P. A. Stolypin, results have been announced. The lot includes the building at Ordzhonikidze 47, and a land plot with a cadastre number of 55:36:040102:7048, spanning approximately 3,000 square meters with a view allowing "public-related" use.
Six bids participated in the auction, including one from the winning entrepreneur who also participated in another Omsk State University sale. Competing Omsk businesspeople were among the other bidders, with entrepreneur (Individual Entrepreneur, ИП) Геворг Акопян ultimately claiming the highest bid of approximately 71.7 million rubles. The initial bid stood at 43.7 million rubles.
SuperOmsk reached out to Acopian to discuss potential use for the building. Acopian responded, stating, "We have ideas with our project partners, and we will share them later,"
A local Omsk entrepreneur with interests in construction-related activities such as machinery and equipment rental, Acopian may be familiar to Omsk residents as a co-owner of company "Стройтраст," responsible for renovating the bridge named after 60 years of the VLKSM and conducting the boulevard of Architects' redevelopment project.
