Adjustments unveiled in Adecco's Executive Council

Adecco Announces Leadership Changes in Europe

In a move aimed at strengthening its presence in key regions, global HR solutions provider Adecco has appointed two new Regional Heads. Martin Alonso and Alain Dehaze will take charge of Northern Europe and France, Switzerland & India, respectively, effective from August 1, 2011.

Martin Alonso, currently Finance Manager for Adecco's business in Iberia and South America, has been appointed as the new Regional Head of Northern Europe. Alonso joined Adecco Spain in 1993 and has held various operational positions within the company. His appointment comes after his significant role in managing Adecco's business in Iberia during the recent economic downturn.

Alain Dehaze, a Belgian national, has been appointed as the new Regional Head of France, Switzerland & India. Dehaze joined Adecco in 2009 and has led Northern Europe for the company. Prior to joining Adecco, Dehaze was CEO of Humares, a specialist staffing company based in the Netherlands.

Patrick De Maeseneire, CEO of Adecco, expressed his confidence in Alain Dehaze and Martin Alonso's leadership and industry knowledge. He believes that their appointments will further consolidate Adecco's position as the world's leading provider of HR solutions.

The Adecco group offers a wide variety of services, including temporary staffing, permanent placement, outsourcing, consulting, and outplacement. With close to 5,500 branches worldwide and over 32,000 FTE employees, the group connects over 700,000 associates with well over 100,000 clients every day.

The group is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, and is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange under the ticker ADEN. It is also a Fortune Global 500 company. Adecco is the clear market leader in Spain with superior profitability.

The appointments come with certain risks and uncertainties, as forward-looking statements in this release involve risks and uncertainties, and actual results could differ materially from current expectations. Factors that could affect the Company's forward-looking statements include, among other things: global GDP trends, changes in regulation of temporary work, intense competition, integration of acquired companies, changes in the Company's ability to attract and retain qualified internal and external personnel or clients, the potential impact of disruptions related to IT, any adverse developments in existing commercial relationships, disputes, or legal and tax proceedings.

Francois Davy, who was the previous Regional Head of France, Switzerland & India, will pursue his career outside the Adecco group. For more information, contact Adecco's Corporate Investor Relations at [email protected] or call +41 (0) 44 878 89 89.
