Advisory provided to Ali Group for a US$1.75 billion loan refinancing by our law firm
In a significant financial move, Bank of America, N.A., London Branch and BNP Paribas Italian Branch have taken the reins as the global coordinators, bookrunners, mandated lead arrangers, and original lenders for the refinancing of Ali Group North America Corp. The refinancing, amounting to $1.75 billion, was aimed at restructuring existing debt incurred during the 2022 acquisition of US-based Welbilt Group.
The refinancing package comprises two credit facilities: a substantial $1.65 billion term loan and a supporting $100 million revolving credit facility, both provided by Bank of America, N.A., London Branch and BNP Paribas Italian Branch. In addition to these two banks, ING Bank N.V., Milan Branch, Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Mediobanca International (Luxembourg) S.A., and Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A., New York Branch have also joined as mandated lead arrangers and original lenders.
