Air Water Gas Solutions Launches $50M ASU Project in Rochester, NY

Air Water Gas Solutions, a subsidiary of Air Water America, has initiated a significant project in Rochester, New York. The company is constructing a multi-million-dollar air separation unit (ASU) at Eastman Business Park, slated to commence operations in 2026. This facility will produce high-purity liquid nitrogen, oxygen, and argon.

The ASU, once operational, will serve as a critical utility for numerous businesses on the park. Nitrogen produced will support both process safety and manufacturing performance, demonstrating the project's potential impact on the local industrial landscape.

The ASU will supply its products to district utility provider Red Rochester and its customers under a 20-year supply agreement. This long-term commitment underscores the confidence in the project's viability and the demand for its output.

Air Water Gas Solutions will build, own, and operate the ASU, ensuring a consistent and reliable supply of high-purity industrial gases to the region over the next two decades. The project's commencement marks a significant investment in Rochester's industrial sector, with expected benefits for both businesses and consumers.
