Singapore-based law firm GT Law, an alliance of Eversheds Sutherland, has appointed Yuh Huey Khoo as a partner to head its financial services, regulatory, and private client practices. Khoo previously served as the director at PwC member firm Eng & Co.

GT Law Bolsters Financial Services Practice with Appointment of Yuh Huey Khoo

Singapore, 15th March — GT Law, the Singapore associate firm of global law powerhouse Eversheds Sutherland, has made a strategic move to expand its focus in the field of financial services. The firm has appointed Yuh Huey Khoo as a partner, marking a significant step in their growth strategy.

Yuh Huey Khoo, a seasoned legal professional, joins GT Law from Eng & Co. Prior to her tenure at Eng & Co, she spent 14 years at WongPartnership, where she left as a partner. Khoo started her career at Rajah & Tann [1].

As a partner at GT Law, Khoo will lead the financial services team, focusing on expanding the firm’s presence and capabilities within that sector in Singapore. Her appointment is part of GT Law's commitment to serving a wider range of clients in the Asia region, always maintaining a focus on excellence and innovation [2].

Khoo's expertise lies in advising on succession planning, estate structuring, and the establishment of trusts and private trust companies for high-net-worth individuals and families. She also provides counsel on complex cross-border employment issues, immigration matters, and regulatory compliance for multinational companies [3].

Singapore's financial services sector is attracting firms and wealth management operations, increasing demand for specialized legal expertise in regulatory compliance and private client services.
