Altered bus routes and timetables set for the commencement of the upcoming academic year in this region

In preparation for the new school year starting on September 16, 2025, the Regensburger Verkehrsverbundgesellschaft (RVV) has announced several timetable changes for regional bus lines. These adjustments aim to increase capacity, improve connections, and streamline services.

For Line 141, students attending Realschule and Burglengenfeld Middle School will find new travel options. In the morning, an additional bus will depart from Maxhütte-Haidhof Bahnhof at 07:35, travelling via Burglengenfeld Gymnasium to Burglengenfeld TV-Turnhalle. This bus will provide an alternative route for students who previously used the Am Deglhof – Burglengenfeld Rathaus journey.

Moreover, students can transfer at 07:33 to line 41 towards Schwandorf Bahnhof or at 07:37 to line 141 towards Burglengenfeld Naabtalpark. This added flexibility will help ensure a smooth commute for students using Line 141.

On Line 142, an additional journey will depart at 07:22 from Zeitlarn Schule to Gymnasium Lappersdorf, while the previous journey at 13:12 from Burglengenfeld Gymnasium via Leonberg and Ponholz to Regenstauf will now depart at 13:22 and will no longer serve stops in Maxhütte-Haidhof.

In addition, Line 17 will now stop at the Lappersdorf Gymnasium stop at 13:16 on its way from Pielmuhle - Lorenzen - Regendorf, serving as a replacement for Line 142. The journey at 13:12 from Lappersdorf Gymnasium will no longer serve stops from Kareth In der Pfeifing to Regendorf Schloss.

Line 33 will see the introduction of two large-capacity buses departing at 13:07 from Neutraubling Realschule via Neutraubling Gymnasium - Barbing - Pfatter and continuing to Herfurth Schoenach Hauptstrasse.

For Line 109, a new journey at 07:06 (school bus) from Grabenhäuser via Sachsenhofen to Schwarzhöfe has been added, and for the return journey in the afternoon, an additional trip will depart at 13:09 from Burglengenfeld Gymnasium to Maxhütte-Haidhof Bahnhof.

Further changes include the adjustment of timetables on Line 17 according to traffic conditions on Saturdays, the inclusion of Erlbach Herrenholz and Dirnberg in the timetable for Lines 109 and 116, respectively, and the alteration of various stop names across different lines.

During a school day, approximately 24 transport companies operate with over 350 buses, collectively covering around 9.2 million kilometers annually. GFN, along with cooperation partners, transports over 8,000 students daily.

Minor timetable adjustments have also been made on routes 23, 24, 26, 28, 36/37, 66, 102, 104, 107, 111, and 112. For a comprehensive understanding of these changes, passengers are advised to refer to the updated timetables provided by the RVV.
