Key tasks and expectations for this role include:
- Origination and execution of custom loan products: Evaluating borrower financial data and creditworthiness, structuring financing packages, and closing loans tailored to high-net-worth clients’ needs.
- Client financial analysis and advisory: Conducting interviews to understand clients’ financial objectives, advising on investment products, mortgages, and retirement planning, and assisting with account openings and closures.
- Compliance and licensing: Maintaining required licenses such as FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or equivalents) to sell investment and loan products, ensuring adherence to banking regulations and internal policies.
- Relationship and risk management: Leveraging relationship management skills to grow the client base, manage credit risk, and work closely with financial experts such as accountants or debt counselors when necessary.
- Operational duties: Performing some routine teller and customer service tasks including deposits, loan payments, and account maintenance to support daily banking operations.
Ideally, the candidate already has knowledge of legal issues related to credit business, or they should be willing to quickly familiarize themselves. A completed apprenticeship as a bank clerk (m/f/d) is required, and the candidate should be willing to attend necessary further training.
