In the heart of Thailand, a new chapter unfolds in the automotive industry as Spanish tier supplier, Antolin, inaugurates its latest plant in Rayong. This new facility, dedicated to the production of acoustic foams, is expected to contribute significantly to generating qualified employment and lasting industrial value in the region.

The opening comes amidst the ASEAN Automotive Logistics and Supply Chain Tier Suppliers Conference, which takes place in mid-October 2025. Antolin, a key participant, will be joining both tier suppliers and OEM customers at this news event.

The Rayong plant will primarily supply existing customers in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam with interiors for new electric and hybrid models. This strategic location allows Antolin to better serve its customers in the rapidly growing Southeast Asian market.

Antolin's commitment to sustainability is evident in its operations. Recycled materials, bio-based adhesives, and ecologically responsible treatments are integrated into its plants' operations, including the new facility in Rayong.

In Cikarang, Indonesia, Antolin works closely with its local partner APM Armada Autoparts (AAA). The operations in Cikarang include the production of headliner units, with potential for producing door panels, lighting systems, and electronic systems. Antolin is beginning with the production of headliner units and assessing the potential for further expansion.

Antolin's operations in Asia employ over 3,800 people across 32 plants and 8 technical-commercial offices. The company's ambition is not limited to Thailand but extends to the entire ASEAN region, supporting the transition towards an electric and connected vehicle.

Ernesto Antolin, chairman of Antolin, stated that the Rayong plant will be a benchmark in innovation and sustainability. The facility in Rayong includes an in-house testing laboratory to maintain high levels of quality, and is equipped with the latest technology and sustainable processes.

Antolin focuses on developing local talent and transferring knowledge in their Asian plants. This approach not only helps create skilled employment but also fosters sustainable value for local economies.

The company's participation in the Automotive Logistics and Supply Chain ASEAN conference, held in Singapore on October 28, further underscores its commitment to the region. Antolin is eager to grow together with Thailand and the entire ASEAN region, supporting the transition towards an electric and connected vehicle future.
