Arnsberg's Neheim District to See Major Infrastructure Upgrades
Arnsberg's Neheim district is set for significant infrastructure improvements, with the city's economic development and marketing team, Stadtmarketing, leading the investments. The Karlstraße intersection will close temporarily to facilitate the renewal of supply lines in the area.
Starting September 29, Karlstraße between Schobbostraße and Schwester-Aicharda-Straße will be closed at the Friedenstraße intersection, turning it into a dead end. This closure is necessary for the renewal of supply and disposal lines in the Schobbostraße between Möhnestraße and Karlstraße, which is already underway. In October, the affected intersection will be completely closed for further work. Meanwhile, construction work around the Karlsplatz in Arnsberg's Neheim district is set to begin with phase 9 next week.
The temporary closure of the Karlstraße intersection is a necessary step in the renewal of supply lines in the area. The city's economic development and marketing team, Stadtmarketing, is overseeing these improvements, which are part of a broader plan to attract investors for climate protection, housing, and innovation in the Neheim district.
