Baden-Württemberg's Women's Economy Days 2025: Shaping the Future Together
The 21st Baden-Württemberg Women's Economy Days, themed 'Shaping the Future: Women & Men Strong as a Team', will take place from October 15 to 18, 2025. The event, organized by Landkreis Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald and the Ministry of Economy, Labour and Tourism, aims to promote equal partnership in career and family life.
Minister Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut stressed the importance of team-oriented work, stating that it distributes responsibility and stress, benefiting both workplace productivity and care work. Successful women and men shared experiences on how partnership-based teamwork can function in career and family, highlighting examples like the mixed duo from Robert Bosch GmbH and the founding couple of engomo GmbH.
The event will address the gender care gap and high part-time employment rate among women, indicating unequal work and care distribution. It will explore how teamwork can help shape a future of equality and fair work distribution.
The 2025 Women's Economy Days will feature around 90 events statewide, focusing on partnership-based teamwork between women and men. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences and ideas to help shape a future where women and men work together equally in career and family.
