Berlin Economic Summer Marks TMV's 125th Anniversary
The Berlin Economic Summer, one of the capital's largest networking events for economic associations, took place at the Berlin Zoo on Friday, September 5, 2025. Organized by the International Economic Council (IWR) and the Alliance of Associations (AdV), the event was marked by the Taxi and Rental Car Association (TMV) celebrating its 125th anniversary and its third consecutive partnership with the event.
The TMV, with its motto 'Do, Make, Network', played a significant role in the event. TMV Managing Director Patrick Meinhardt and Office Manager Nico Höttges represented the industry, advocating for its interests. Topics discussed included differentiating from illegal rental car offers in Berlin and the role of small businesses in economic and mobility policy.
The event was graced by the Mongolian Ambassador, S.E. Mandakhbileg Birvaa, as the guest of honor. Tino Barth, Chairman of the IWR and the Alliance of Associations, was recognized for his contributions by being awarded 'Taxi Ambassador'.
