The Bergisch Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) has joined the chorus, calling for equal treatment for all mobility providers in its latest stance. According to Martin Bender, leading candidate for the Citizens' Community for Solingen e.V. (BfS), this comes as an appreciable nod to their mission.

Martin Bender sheds light on the matter, stating, "It's high time to scrap ideology-driven transport policies. Popping the bubble of preferential treatment for individual mobility sectors is essential. Equal treatment for all, whether they're navigating by car, public transport, or bike, is the key to moving forward."

Tightening the noose on car use would hamper the mobility transition, argues Bender. After all, mobility is as much a basic human right as freedom of speech!

Don't fret about the 'green table' discussions by self-appointed eco-ideologues, Bender advises. Instead, trust in common sense solutions. BfS shall strive to ensure that Solingen's traffic concepts evolve with the needs of the people, not the whims of a few.

Klingenstadt, too, yearns for its residents to have a role in shaping mobility concepts.

Martin Bender is steadfast, proclaiming, "By electing BfS, we'll bring plain sense back to the council. That's the battle we're fighting on September 14, 2025."
