BGC Group Launches Opti Match, a New Electronic Trading Platform for U.S. Dollar Swaps
BGC Group, Inc. has announced the launch of Opti Match, a new electronic trading platform for U.S. dollar swaps. The platform is designed to streamline execution, enhance transparency, and deliver superior liquidity across the U.S. dollar swaps landscape.
The new platform will be offered through BGC Derivatives Markets, L.P. Bradley Barclay, a senior broker in the U.S. interest rates swap market, has joined BGC Group to focus on the growth of the Opti Match platform. Mr. Barclay brings 10+ years of deep market expertise and a strong track record in interdealer broking to BGC Group. He was previously at TP ICAP.
Bradley Barclay will report to Charles Veneziano, Executive Managing Director, and Head of Rates at BGC Group. Mr. Veneziano stated that the launch of Opti Match signifies their continued investment in technology and commitment to delivering best-in-class solutions for clients.
Opti Match initially supports a comprehensive suite of products, including SOFR Flies & Spreads, SOFR Feds Basis Term & FOMC, FOMC Rates SOFR & OIS, CME/LCH Outrights & Switches. As a full-service provider, BGC Group aims to provide clients with the flexibility to choose how they trade with them, offering options for fully electronic, hybrid, or voice trading.
Briana Grazioso, Director of eSales at BGC Group, will lead the Opti Match business. She will oversee strategy, product development, and client adoption for Opti Match. Institutional investors can access Opti Match either directly if they are SEF Participants or through their BGC or GFI broker.
However, Briana Grazioso will soon be succeeded by David Glick in leading the Opti Match business and overseeing strategy, product development, and customer adoption at BGC Group. Mr. Barclay's addition to BGC Group further strengthens their capabilities in the U.S. dollar swaps space. BGC Group ensures seamless connectivity and efficiency across every execution style.
