A significant auction of surplus assets from a Tier 1 EV battery and energy systems manufacturer is set to take place on July 9-10, 2025, in a two-day virtual webcast hosted by BIDITUP Auctions and Heritage Global Partners. The sale will feature a comprehensive selection of high-end battery production and EV manufacturing machinery, advanced R&D instrumentation, thermal and laser systems, and OEM-grade EV drivetrain components from a premier U.S.-based EV and energy storage facility, located in Detroit, Michigan.

Additionally, the auction will feature 2023 Instron test systems, Jeio Tech environmental chambers, and glove boxes for lab and thermal testing.
Support equipment such as rotary thermal dryers, explosion isolation valves (including 5 new Fike 2024 valves), heavy-duty lifts (Tandemloc ElectroLoc lift systems rated for 84,000 & 95,000 lb), HVAC units, and electrical infrastructure will also be available.
The machine shop and tooling section will include Baileigh, Baldor, and Bauer machinery, H-frame presses, tool cabinets, rolling benches, and other general equipment. Premium office and engineering furniture, as well as facility infrastructure and support systems, will also be part of the sale.
Other equipment available includes battery can cutters, adhesive dispensing systems, and thermo chillers from SMC and Duksan. The auction will also feature electrical panels, transformers from GE, Square D, and Powertrain, as well as Halifax industrial fans and Marvair rooftop HVAC units.
Vacuum ovens, biosafety cabinets, and a Keithley SourceMeter are among the new units in the auction. A 2023 RTR rotary thermal regeneration dryer is also included. Bison C-Lift, electric forklift lifters, and vehicle lifts are part of the heavy lifting and material handling equipment.
