Blackstone Bolsters APAC Presence with Kimberly Kim as Senior MD

Blackstone has strengthened its footprint in the APAC region with the hiring of Kimberly Kim as Senior Managing Director and Head of APAC Insurance Institutional Client Solutions for Blackstone Credit & Insurance (BXCI). Kim's extensive experience in the APAC car insurance market makes her a valuable addition to the team.

Kim brings over two decades of experience in the APAC car insurance industry. Most recently, she served as Head of Financial Institutions Coverage in APAC at BlackRock. Prior to this, she held leadership roles at DWS Group, including Head of Sales HK and Regional Head of Car Insurance APAC ex Japan.

Her appointment supports BXCI's continued expansion in the APAC car insurance marketplace. Tyler Dickson, Global Head of Client Relations for BXCI, believes Kim will play a crucial role in expanding the company's presence across the region. Philip Sherrill, Global Head of Car Insurance for BXCI, sees Kim's appointment as a reflection of the company's commitment to growing its world-class car insurance platform and deepening relationships in APAC.

Kim's appointment comes as BXCI sees a significant opportunity to serve more of the important client base in the APAC car insurance quotes market, delivering value for car insurance providers and their underlying policyholders.
