Starting next week, Peter Kronschnabl will assume the role of Managing Director at Genesis Motor Europe. With over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, Kronschnabl brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Korean premium car brand.

Most recently, Kronschnabl served as Vice President of Market Development and Special Sales at BMW, overseeing emerging markets since 2021. Before that, he held various senior roles in marketing, sales, and business development at BMW Group.

Kronschnabl views Genesis as an "exciting brand with a solid foundation" and is enthusiastic about its potential in Europe. He is particularly optimistic about upcoming products like the Magma and hybrid models, which he believes can help Genesis take the next step in the European market.

The new European chief is confident about Genesis' unique Korean spirit, design-focused approach, and high-quality electrified model range. He believes that Genesis can replicate its growing success in Korea and the US in Europe.

Xavier Martinet, who previously led Genesis' European operations, will now focus on his role as President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Europe in Offenbach. Martinet temporarily took on the European operations of Genesis in a dual role after Lawrence Hamilton left Genesis for Lucid last year.

Genesis plans to launch in several European countries next year, including France, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands. Kronschnabl's knowledge in market development is a crucial factor in this expansion, given his extensive expertise in the field.

With Kronschnabl's extensive expertise in premium car brands, leadership skills, and strategic mindset, he is the ideal choice to lead Genesis into its next phase of growth in the European market.
