Shopping just got a bit more expensive thanks to tariffs. Here's a rundown of companies that have already raised prices in response:

Home

Windmill

Windmill AC: $319.99 ❌ $379.99 👉 Sitewide price hikes took effect on May 1. This brand creates some of our favorite window air conditioners, air purifiers, and fans, all of which connect to their app for remote control.

Stanley Black & Decker

Black+Decker 12V Max Cordless Drill/Driver + 59 Piece Project Kit: $94.99 ↔ $95.14 👉 This tool company raised prices on its tools, home, kitchen, and outdoor products in April. It warns customers to expect another round of price hikes later this year. Stock up on supplies like drills, tool kits, vacuums, and leaf blowers before then.

Uppababy

Uppababy Aria Infant Car Seat: $499.99 ↔ $499.99 👉 Uppababy increased prices across most of its products on May 5. Known for strollers and car seats, they also make other baby products like high chairs, changing backpacks, and bouncers. NBC Select reporter Harry Rabinowitz found the Aria car seat and Vista V2 stroller to be high-quality picks as a parent.

Diggs

Diggs Revol Collapsible Dog Crate: $499.00 ↔ $499.00 👉 Diggs increased prices across its pet products on May 2. They warn they may have to adjust prices further if necessary. The brand creates some of our favorite essentials for dogs, including the Revol Crate, which won an NBC Select Pet Award.

Apparel, footwear, and accessories

Ana Luisa

Nate Bold Huggie Hoops: $75.00 ↔ $75.00 👉 Ana Luisa's price hikes went into effect on April 9. Increases only apply to select items, but the brand didn't specify which ones. They specialize in hypoallergenic and tarnish-resistant jewelry, with a two-year warranty on each purchase.

Fabletics

Define PowerHold High-Waisted Legging: $74.95 👉 Fabletics added a $6.00 tariff surcharge to all orders for members and non-members. This activewear company makes leggings, swimwear, loungewear, intimates, and men's apparel.

Kuru

Tread: $155.00 👉 Kuru increased prices across all products in April. We recommend their Tread Sandal from our guide to shoes with arch support; you can also shop sneakers, slippers, and boots for men and women.

Labucq

Boomer Black: $490.00 👉 Labucq increased prices by about 10% on April 15 and another 10% on May 7. Their shoes, boots, sandals, and accessories are made in Italy.

Kitchen

Great Jones

The Dutchess: $205.00 ↔ $205.00 👉 Great Jones' price hikes went into effect on May 1. Use their cookware and bakeware daily, like the Holy Sheet Pan, All Aboard, Beyond Measure, and Big Chill.

Souper Cubes

1 Cup Silicone Freezer Molds: $19.95 ↔ $19.95 👉 Souper Cubes is struggling with tariff-related challenges and may periodically run out of stock. They plan to raise prices on May 16 for any items they need to restock. Use their dishwasher-safe molds for meal prep, freezing soup, broth, sauces, cooked grains, and vegetable purees.

Bean & Bean

Downtown Medium Roast Whole Bean Coffee: $22.00 ↔ $22.00 👉 AAPI-owned Bean & Bean sent customers an email in March explaining that coffee costs more these days and informed them that they began adjusting pricing in response. They didn't specify whether all or only specific products were affected.

Up Bento Box: $49.95 ↔ $49.95 👉 Omie, maker of bento boxes and mealtime accessories for adults and kids, raised prices on April 18. They hope this situation is only temporary.

Loftie

Lamp: $399.99 ↔ $449.99 ↔ $249.00 👉 Loftie raised the price of their lamp by almost $200 due to tariffs, with a few models still available at the lower price. Both their lamp and clock (not affected by price hikes yet) pair with an app for customization and control.

Onyx Boox

Palma 2: $299.99 ↔ $299.99 ↔ $299.99 👉 Boox makes one of our favorite e-readers. They posted a message on Reddit sharing that they raised the cost of their products due to tariff impact on operational costs.
