Brazil-based Esports Gaming company appoints new Executive Leader
Esportes Gaming Brasil, the parent company behind prominent gaming brands Esportes da Sorte and Onabet, announces the appointment of Hugo Baungartner as their new Chief Business Officer (CBO) and Executive Director of Institutional Relations and Strategic Partnerships. Baungartner, with nearly three decades of experience in technology and gaming sectors, will join the company's leadership team to strengthen institutional engagement, advocacy, and strategic partnerships.
Baungartner is tasked with liaising with key Brazilian authorities, such as the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA/MF), the Federal Revenue Service, the Central Bank, COAF, certification bodies, and accredited laboratories, to maintain compliance with the country's evolving gambling regulatory landscape. He will also focus on developing strategic partnerships, overseeing merger and acquisition opportunities, and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance for new projects.
