Struggling to Bloom: The Latest Hurdles in Biysk's Gardening Routes

Brace yourself, green thumbs of Biysk! The price hike on the gardening routes has transformed your trek to the dacha or garden into a costly endeavor that leaves many residents feeling the pinch. As of May 1st, a single journey in Biysk's public transport will set you back 50 rubles on seasonal gardening routes.

For all you gardeners who make numerous stops to tend to your plots, the increased costs are just the tip of the weed-infested iceberg. Regular visits for timely watering and weeding can take a toll on your wallet, not to mention the persistent issue of lengthy transport waits.

It's a thorny situation, and Biysk's residents are voicing their concerns loud and clear in the city's head's chatroom.

  • "What's the lowdown on the buses on gardening routes? The folks traveling between AB to SNT Oleumshchik can't seem to make it without transfers, while other parts of town have direct routes (6 or 39). The increase in costs isn't the only issue. With prices going up by 45%, we're racking up double the bills to reach the 'Oleumshchik' garden. Where's the fairness?"
  • "Perhaps the AB residents are earning some serious green as gardeners. With the proposed changes, a round trip to 'Oleumshchik' garden would cost 200 rubles! In the past, only grandmas could afford such trips."

It's a similar story on route No.39. It seems the buses occasionally arrive late, then drivers skip the gardening area altogether, vowing never to return.

  • "The driver flat-out told us there would only be one bus."

It's worth noting that last year, gardening routes faced similar issues: a shortage of buses and drivers, plus some hard-to-reach gardening areas due to deplorable road quality.

Shore-ing up the SNT "Berezka": Uproar Over Closed Roads

The issues around Biysk's gardening routes don't end there. In the SNT "Berezka" locality, highway access has been restricted to gardeners, driving a wedge between neighbors and stirring up controversy.

With the new barriers erected, it appears only those with a direct stake in the berries and flowers can avail themselves of this much-coveted patch of earth. This move may have some Gardener's Guild members buzzing with excitement, but the rest of the Biysk community seems less inclined to cheer.

  • "It seems the disruptions aren't limited to the gardening routes alone. The closure of roads in SNT 'Berezka' is causing a stir, making it challenging for many residents to access their gardens."
  • "As the gardening routes struggle with costs and transport issues, it's worth considering alternative methods for reaching our gardens – such as bicycle commuting or carpooling – to help manage personal-finance concerns."
  • "In the realm of public-transit, transportation, and even personal-finance, these challenges are interconnected, underscoring the importance of collaborative solutions to ensure all Biysk residents can nurture their green spaces."
