The Enzkreis district office is constructing a new modern administrative building on Ebersteinstraße in Pforzheim, with a scheduled completion date of 2026. The legal standard for new buildings, including this one, will follow the energy efficiency building standard 40 from 2025.

The first earthworks for the construction began in early December, and infrastructure work, along with the establishment of a construction site access road, will start in January. The shell construction work is scheduled to begin in October 2024.

District Administrator Bastian Rosenau spoke about the new construction at a press conference, expressing pride in the project. He reiterated that the building will be a project they can be proud of when it's finished.

Sparkasse Pforzheim Calw has announced that they will focus on using regional craftsmen during the construction. Rüdiger Karl, deputy chairman of Sparkasse Pforzheim Calw, stated that regional craftsmen will be able to submit offers for the construction.

The administrative building is a new construction, and the construction site has already been the location for a photo opportunity. However, as of now, there is no publicly available detailed update specifically about the construction's current status. For the most accurate and current status, it is recommended to check local news sources, the official Pforzheim city website, or the website of the construction company involved. Alternatively, you might consider contacting the Pforzheim city administration directly for official project updates.

Despite the goal for the completion of the building being 2026, challenges along the way are expected. The rain stopped during a photo opportunity at the construction site, but more obstacles may arise.

Once completed, the modern administrative building will serve the social services of the Enzkreis district office. The project is a significant step forward in modernising the district's infrastructure and services.

Investors from the local finance industry have shown interest in supporting the modern administrative building project in Pforzheim, recognizing its potential impact on the region. Sparkasse Pforzheim Calw, a local bank, has pledged to utilize regional craftsmen for the construction, aiming to contribute positively to the industry within the Enzkreis district.
