Halle (Saale) Bus Line 24 to be Rerouted Due to Road Renovation Work
Starting from July 30, 2025, the Hallesche Verkehrs-AG (HAVAG) will reroute bus line 24 in Halle (Saale) due to road renovation works on Guldenstraße. The usual route through Guldenstraße will be closed during this period.
Temporary Stops and Detour Variants
Temporary bus stops will be established on Georgi-Dimitroff-Straße and at the exit of Kurt-Wuesteneck-Straße to maintain access for passengers during the detour. The detour for Line 24 will change on August 11, 2025, with the new detour serving school traffic.
From July 30 to August 10, 2025, Line 24 will detour via Merseburger Straße, Rosengarten bus depot, and Industriestraße, serving stops other than "Ellernstraße (A/B)", "Beesen (E)", "Alte Heerstraße (A/B)", and "Karl-Pilger-Straße replacement stop (A/B)".
From August 11 to August 22, 2025, Line 24 will go towards Osendorf via Industriestraße, Rosengarten bus depot, Karl-Pilger-Straße replacement stop (in Georgi-Dimitroff-Straße), and Ammendorf/Osendorf. Towards Südstadt, line 24 will go via Georgi-Dimitroff-Straße to the Karl-Pilger-Straße replacement stop (in Georgi-Dimitroff-Straße), then via Rosengarten bus depot (D) and Industriestraße. The detour for Line 24 will not include the "Kurt-Wuesteneck-Straße" stop during the detour from August 11 to August 22, 2025.
Service Frequency and Passenger Information
The frequency of bus line 24 may be adjusted to accommodate detours and maintain schedule adherence. Expect possible delays or slight changes in intervals. Clear signage will be put in place at affected stops, and announcements will be made onboard and at major stops about the temporary changes.
Alternative Connections
Passengers are advised to use alternative lines or connections when traveling to destinations normally served via the closed section of Guldenstraße.
