SCAM Beware: "Black Real Estate Agents" in Krasnoyarsk Swindle Hundreds of Thousands
In Krasnoyarsk, police have uncovered a scam gang known as "Black Real Estate Agents." Over a three-month period, these criminals have tricked nearly a hundred residents out of 300,000 rubles under the pretense of offering guaranteed rental property services.
According to the Regional MVD, a 31-year-old man from Krasnoyarsk, along with his 28-year-old wife and three associates, aged 27, 25, and 32, used the internet to offer rental services. After establishing contact with clients, they'd sign contracts, listing the details of various Individual Entrepreneurs (IPs). Once they received the money, they'd vanish without a trace. The gang rented offices across various districts in Krasnoyarsk and employed fake real estate agency stamps.
By March to June 2023, they'd swindled over 300,000 rubles from 52 individuals.
The investigation into this fraud case has already concluded, and the suspects face a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison. The victims' losses have been compensated.
