County of Sömmerda Witnesses Wildlife Mishap: LPI-EF Report

A wildlife accident occurred on Wednesday evening in the County of Sömmerda, Germany. The incident involved a collision between a vehicle and a deer, resulting in damage to the vehicle but no injuries to the driver.

The accident took place around 9:00 PM, on a road connecting Grüningen and Herrenschwende. The 42-year-old driver of an Audi was unharmed in the accident, but the vehicle sustained damage due to the collision.

The deer fled the scene after the accident, and no official report was filed with the Thuringian police control center in Erfurt on Thursday evening, as the incident occurred on Wednesday, not Thursday.
