Deadline for Emirates Labour Market Award Applications Extended to August 31 by MoHRE
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced that applications for the third edition of the Emirates Labour Market Award will be accepted until August 31, 2025. This prestigious award honors excellence in private sector labor practices and celebrates outstanding members of the UAE workforce.
Interested parties can submit their applications through the official website, riyada.mohre.gov.ae. The number of winners for this year's edition is expected to nearly double, with categories covering establishments, individual workers, labor accommodations, business service partners, and special recognitions.
Applicants will be evaluated by expert committees based on criteria such as recruitment practices, occupational health and safety, innovation, talent attraction, wages, and social responsibility. Winners will be honored at a ceremony hosted by MoHRE in November.
In the Establishments category, private companies with exemplary HR practices, workplace well-being, innovation, and compliance will be recognized. The Outstanding Workforce category will award skilled professionals, general workers, and domestic workers for their achievements, learning, and social contributions.
The Labour Accommodations category will highlight the best worker housing investments and initiatives that promote worker welfare and social cohesion. This year, a special subcategory has been introduced to recognize companies implementing recreational and social initiatives, especially during national holidays like Eid, to boost morale, productivity, and loyalty.
The Business Services Partners category will honor top-performing recruitment offices, employment agencies, and service centers. The Special Recognition category will feature awards for pioneering companies and influencers who promote awareness of UAE labor laws and rights.
Winning companies will receive financial benefits, with companies eligible for up to AED 1.2 million in discounts on MoHRE services. Individuals winning in the Outstanding Workforce category can look forward to cash prizes of AED 100,000 for first place, AED 75,000 for second, and AED 50,000 for third.
In addition to recognition and prizes, winning companies will also enjoy MoHRE's Diamond Tier customer service, national recognition, and exposure at a prestigious ceremony in November 2025. The Emirates Labour Market Award 2025 promises not only prestige but also practical benefits for outstanding contributors to the UAE labor market.
