DEWA Fortifies Smart Infrastructure with Fortinet Partnership

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has signed a long-term partnership with Fortinet to bolster its smart infrastructure cybersecurity. The agreement was inked during the 27th Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) in Dubai, under the leadership of HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer.

DEWA will implement the Fortinet Security Fabric system, offering unified protection across diverse environments and adopting a Zero Trust security model. This partnership enables DEWA to utilise Fortinet's AI-powered FortiGuard services for real-time threat detection and response. The move aligns with DEWA's aim to protect its digital assets and smart infrastructure using global best practices and advanced technologies.
