DHL Supply Chain Bolsters Global Board for Operational Efficiency and Market Expansion
DHL Supply Chain has announced a strategic series of appointments to its global board, aiming to bolster its operational efficiency and expand into new markets. The changes, effective July 1, 2024, include the promotion of internal talent and the appointment of external expertise.
Mauricio Barros, currently serving as the regional CEO for DHL Supply Chain in Latin America, will step into the role of global chief operations officer. Barros brings a wealth of experience in driving operational excellence and has been instrumental in growing the business in the Latin American region.
Sally Miller, the current chief information officer of DHL Supply Chain in North America, will take on the global stage as the new global digital transformation officer. Miller has a proven track record in driving digital innovation, having held various management positions within the DHL Group across the United States and Germany. She will also assume the role of global chief information officer, succeeding Sureddin who is set to retire.
Markus Voss, who has been pivotal in driving performance-focused standardisation and implementing new technologies, will step into the role of global chief development officer. He replaces John Kelleher, who moves to a new role within the organisation. Kelleher, joining DHL Group in 1992 as a supply chain engineer, brings a deep understanding of the business and has been instrumental in developing product solutions that address current and anticipated customer challenges.
With these strategic appointments, DHL Supply Chain aims to strengthen its global operations and explore new markets. The company's commitment to continuous improvement and digital transformation is evident in these changes, which leverage both internal talent and external expertise.
