Dishonest individuals in Almaty are obtaining loans by making false pension payouts
In a developing story, the Financial Monitoring Agency's Almaty Department has launched an investigation into LLP "Comfort Time" and its affiliated enterprises, alleged to have caused property damage through deceit.
The investigation, reported by Liter.kz, focuses on a scheme that misled banks and facilitated loan approvals for unemployed individuals and those with negative credit histories. The scheme, carried out by the masterminds behind LLP "Comfort Time", has been identified in Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, and several other regions in Kazakhstan.
The scheme created false information about the income and creditworthiness of borrowers. Participants in the scheme received up to 10% of the loan amount for providing false data. As a result, 140 non-performing loans totaling 399 million tenge were issued. Many of the loan recipients had no intention of fulfilling their banking obligations from the start.
The scheme involved registering legal entities to make fake pension contributions for individuals seeking loans, despite the individuals not having actual employment relationships. This false information misled banks, facilitating loan approvals.
However, it's important to note that, as of now, no verifiable details or reports about LLP "Comfort Time" being investigated for property damage, deceit, or non-performing loans can be found in publicly available search results. If you need information on this topic, you may consider looking at local Kazakhstan news sources, official court or government publications, or financial regulatory authorities in Kazakhstan for relevant investigations or legal proceedings.
Stay tuned for updates on this ongoing investigation.
