EPA Updates Pesticide Active Ingredients Table, Renews Enlist One and Enlist Duo
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has updated its table of pesticide active ingredients registered under conditional authority in the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) section 3(c)(7)(C). The table, covering fiscal years 2000 to present, includes notable changes made in 2022.
In 2022, the EPA renewed registrations for the active ingredients in Enlist One and Enlist Duo, including 2,4-D and glyphosate, under FIFRA section 3 conditions. This renewal extends their approved use until January 11, 2029, specifically for Enlist-resistant corn, soybean, and cotton crops.
The table, which is updated periodically, lists details such as the chemical name, division, registration notice date, conditional data requirements, due dates, and status. Each entry is assigned a unique Master record identification number (MRID) for tracking submitted studies.
The EPA's table serves as a comprehensive record of pesticide active ingredients registered under conditional authority. The 2022 updates, including the renewal of Enlist One and Enlist Duo, reflect the agency's ongoing efforts to manage and regulate pesticide use in the United States.
