Jac, a Chinese commercial vehicle brand owned by JAC Motors (Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd.), has made a significant entry into the New Zealand market this year. The brand, which is part of the Southpac Truck network, has been expanding its dealership network across the country.

Currently, Jac operates three dealerships in New Zealand: Southern Autos in Botany, Auckland, Energy Motors in New Plymouth, and Avon City in Christchurch. However, this number is set to increase with the addition of Winger Motors North Shore in Wairau Valley, Auckland, another Winger outlet in Hamilton, and Hawkes Bay Jac in Napier. These new additions will soon join Jac's existing local dealerships.

The expansion of Jac's dealership network indicates a commitment to growing the brand's presence in the New Zealand market. With the Southpac Truck network having a total of 14 commercial sales and/or servicing outlets in New Zealand, Jac's presence will undoubtedly increase.

The Southpac Truck network stretches from Kerikeri to Dunedin in New Zealand, providing extensive coverage for the brand. Jac's initial offering in the New Zealand market is the T9, priced at $49,990.

Jac has also made a splash at the Fieldays event, held from June 11-14. The brand joined as a major sponsor, alongside PTS Logistics, Map of Ag, and the University of Waikato. Jac's participation in the event included the offering of a new T9 ute as part of the major prize pool for ticketholders.

The expansion of Jac's dealerships in New Zealand will undoubtedly increase the brand's presence in the country. As Jac continues to grow, New Zealand consumers can look forward to more competitive pricing and a wider range of commercial vehicles.
