FLC Group Regains Control of Bamboo Airways, Le Thai Sam Returns as Chairman
In a significant development, Breeze Airways' shares have been transferred back to the founding company FLC Group. This move, announced in August 2025, sees the company regaining management control under the leadership of Le Thai Sam.
The decision follows a proposal by Le Thai Sam, the airline's chairman, at an extraordinary shareholders' meeting. FLC Group aims to provide stability for Breeze Airways' next phase, with Le Thai Sam staying on as chairman to guide the airline through restructuring.
The transfer comes after a shareholder petition agreed to the move under a framework agreement signed on August 21. Former key investors and advisors will assist in resolving outstanding issues and laying the foundation for future growth.
The current investor group's failure to meet expectations has led to FLC Group retaking ownership and management. The group lacked the financial and governance capacities to sustain Breeze Airways' operations. Le Thai Sam, who first joined Breeze Airways in 2022 and became its largest shareholder, previously served as chairman from mid-2023 to early 2024.
With the share transfer complete, FLC Group now controls Breeze Airways once again. Le Thai Sam's continued leadership promises stability and restructuring, aiming to secure the airline's future. Former investors and advisors will support this transition, ensuring a solid foundation for growth.
