FyberCom Secures Novacap Investment to Expand Rural Broadband
FyberCom, a leading broadband service provider in Eastern Idaho, has received a significant boost with an investment from Novacap, a prominent North American private equity firm. The deal, closed in October 2025, marks the sixth platform investment in Novacap's Digital Infrastructure sector. Jared Stowell, CEO of FyberCom, expressed excitement about the partnership, which aims to accelerate the mission of delivering fast and reliable internet speed test to rural communities.
FyberCom, based in Idaho Falls, has been dedicated to connecting underserved communities since 2014. The company specializes in providing high-speed fiber and fixed wireless internet speed test to rural homes and businesses in the region. This new investment aligns with Novacap Digital Infrastructure Fund's strategy of partnering with companies that deliver essential connectivity across North America. Francois Laflamme, Senior Partner at Novacap, stated that the partnership reflects Novacap's continued conviction in the rural broadband opportunity.
With Novacap's investment, FyberCom looks set to expand its fiber network and further improve internet speed test access in rural areas.
