Gas prices in Altai region will be adjusted starting July 1.

Starting July 1, 2025, natural gas prices will,””erek”” in the Altai region, as confirmed by the Altai Regional Department of State Regulation of Prices and Tariffs.

According to a document published on the official legal information portal, the department has endorsed new prices for natural gas supplied by the "Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Novosibirsk" branch. The changes will take effect on the aforementioned date.

Residential users will pay 9.13 rubles per cubic meter for cooking, hot water, or a combination of both. For heating or generating electricity in single-family or multi-unit buildings, the price will be 9,129.98 rubles per thousand cubic meters.

The prices for "special" gas pipelines will be 10.76 rubles per cubic meter for cooking and hot water, and 10,757.8 rubles per thousand cubic meters for heating, electricity generation, and related purposes.

Simultaneously, electricity tariffs throughout Russia are poised to increase from July 1, 2025, marking a growth of about 12.6% nationwide. This rise is part of a multi-year plan aimed at funding new generating capacities, electricity transmission, and addressing shortcomings in territorial grid organizations that have not met reliability standards.

Furthermore, utility tariffs, including housing and utilities, are projected to escalate by 11.9% from the same date, as reported.

The current electricity rate hike follows previous adjustments, with an increase of 9.1% from July 2024 and a further increase of 11.6% anticipated by July 2025. However, specific percentages might vary depending on the source.

The industry and finance sectors may experience adjustments due to the escalating utility tariffs, including housing and utilities, which are projected to increase by 11.9% from July 1, 2025. Additionally, the changes in natural gas prices could impact the energy sector, as the prices for residential and special gas pipelines will undergo significant changes starting from the same date.
