GCB Appoints Greta Schulte as New Head of Government and Public Affairs

German Credit Bank (GCB) has appointed Greta Schulte as its new Head of Government and Public Affairs, effective November 1. Schulte succeeds Andreas Gruber, who took on the role of Chief Sustainability Officer earlier this year.

Schulte brings a wealth of experience to her new role. She previously served as Secretary General and later as a board member at the European FinTech Association. Her career also includes a stint in Government & Public Affairs at the online bank N26.

Schulte will report to Karsten Traum, Head of Corporate Development and Solutions and GCB's General Representative. Despite limited public information on her specific role in the Fintech industry prior to GCB, her background in government affairs and fintech associations suggests a strong understanding of the sector's regulatory landscape and stakeholder relations.

Greta Schulte's appointment as Head of Government and Public Affairs at GCB signals the bank's commitment to effective engagement with policymakers and industry stakeholders. Her experience in fintech and government affairs is expected to drive GCB's public policy strategy and advocacy efforts.
