Germany's prominent castle faces a dire shortage of funds.
Schloss Friedenstein, a historic building that has stood tall in Gotha for almost 400 years, is set to undergo its first comprehensive renovation since its construction. The Stiftung Thueringer Schloessern und Gaerten, the organisation responsible for the maintenance and restoration of numerous historical properties in Thuringia, will benefit from this investment.
