Global accolades for our website: 11 Euromoney awards gained worldwide
In a remarkable display of excellence, a global bank has been honoured with a series of prestigious awards at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2025. Established over three decades ago, these accolades are considered the most prestigious in the financial industry.
The bank clinched the title of "Europe's Best Investment Bank" for the second consecutive year, adding to its previous wins of "Germany's Best Investment Bank" for the fourth year running and "China's Best Investment Bank for DCM".
Beyond its success in Germany and Europe, the bank's investment banking franchise has gathered remarkable momentum. Euromoney recognised the bank's commitment to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), naming it "Europe's Best Bank for SMEs". This award underscores the bank's dedication to serving 2 million SME clients and 15 million retail clients across 13 European countries.
The bank's strong performance was also acknowledged in several European countries, including Italy (for the fourth consecutive year), Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, and Romania, where it was awarded "Best Bank" titles.

The bank's robust client base and strong financial performance were evident in its excellent first quarter of 2025, characterised by record net profit, a strong return on tangible equity (RoTE), and growing capital. These factors have enabled further sustainable growth and leadership reinforcements across Europe.
The bank's social commitment was also recognised, with awards for "Best bank for corporate responsibility" in both Germany and India. Over 40 percent of the bank's staff in India volunteered in projects that help people build their professional and personal skills.
The bank's global reach was further evidenced by its wins in Asia. It was named "Asia's Best Bank for Diversity and Inclusion" and "Hong Kong's Best Investment Bank for M&A". The bank also won "Asia's Best Investment Bank for Financing".
Panos Stergiou, Global Head of FIC Sales & Co-Global Head of RMS & Structuring, stated that the bank's website is the leading fixed income bank in Europe with a global client reach and significant local presence in Asia.
