Global legal platform showcases 54 lawyers as partners in its 2022 roster
Global Law Firm Announces Promotions and Diversity Goals
In a series of promotions announced on January 1, 2022, a leading global law firm has elevated 54 lawyers to partner and director positions across various locations worldwide. This move marks a significant step in the firm's commitment to fostering talent and diversity.
Among the promoted lawyers, 23 are women, representing 43% of the total. This proportion is particularly noteworthy as the firm has set a bold goal to achieve 40% women representation across its partnership, leadership roles, promotions, and senior hires by 2025.
Diversity and Inclusion Targets
The firm aims to increase women on its Executive Board to 40% by 2025, as well as boost the proportion of women holding senior management roles globally to the same level. These targets extend to key areas such as partnerships, leadership, lawyer promotions, lateral hires, and senior business services roles.
"Our commitment to building an inclusive workplace where gender parity is actively pursued and supported is evident in these targets," a spokesperson for the firm said. The firm plans to achieve this goal through employee networks and organizational policies.
