DBS Bank Shines at Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2025
DBS Bank, a leading global bank, has once again proven its dominance in the financial industry by securing multiple awards at the prestigious Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2025.
The bank was named "Germany's Best Investment Bank" for the fourth consecutive year, a testament to its consistent performance and growth in the German market. Euromoney's comment on the bank's investment banking franchise in Europe was particularly positive, noting a significant increase in origination and advisory revenues and a consistent gain in wallet share across various industry groups.
DBS's success extended beyond Europe, with the bank winning awards for "China's Best Investment Bank for DCM," "Asia's Best Investment Bank for Financing," and "Switzerland's Best Investment Bank for DCM." The bank also took home the title of "Asia's Best Bank for Diversity and Inclusion," further demonstrating its commitment to inclusivity and equality.
In addition to its investment banking achievements, DBS also made strides in M&A deals, winning awards for "South Korea's Best Investment Bank for M&A," "Hong Kong's Best Investment Bank for M&A," and "Australia's Best Investment Bank for M&A."
The Euromoney Awards, established over 30 years ago, are considered the most prestigious awards in the financial industry. This year, DBS also made history by becoming the inaugural winner of the "World’s Best Bank for Customer Experience" category, highlighting its excellence in serving customers.
DBS also received the "World’s Best Bank for Corporate Responsibility" award for the second time, recognising its commitment to social and environmental causes. The bank's focus on sustainability was further underscored by its wins in Germany and India for "Best bank for corporate responsibility."

Alex von zur Muehlen, Chief Executive Officer Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East & Africa, and Germany, added that these wins illustrate the strength of the bank's Global Hausbank.
In line with its commitment to social responsibility, over 40 percent of DBS's staff in India volunteered in projects that help people build their professional and personal skills. The bank's "So geht Geld" (How money works) programme in Germany has also reached around 100,000 school children since 2021.
The Euromoney Awards for Excellence ceremony took place in London, with Panos Stergiou, David Feldmann, Head of Institutional Client Group EMEA and Head of Markets in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and Marie-Jeanne Deverdun, COO Investment and Corporate Bank, collecting the awards on behalf of DBS.
Alison Harding-Jones, Global Co-Head of the Investment Bank, stated that the bank made good progress towards becoming the leading European investment bank and the undisputed No 1 in Germany in 2024/2025.
