Google Launches Home Premium: Enhanced Security & AI for Smart Homes
Google has launched Google Home Premium, a new smart home subscription service. It offers enhanced security, more video features, and exclusive access to advanced AI tools. The service is available in 40 countries, with prices starting from around €10 per month.
Google Home Premium comes in two tiers: Standard and Advanced. The Standard tier costs $10/month or $100/year and includes 30 days of video history, intelligent alerts, and sound detection features. It also offers easy automations and emergency calling from the Google Home app.
The Advanced tier, priced at $20/month or $200/year, provides extended features. It offers 60 days of video history and 24/7 video archives for up to 10 days. It also includes specific search through camera and doorbell history, event descriptions, and daily summaries. Additionally, it provides access to Gemini Live, a more advanced version of Gemini, and Home Brief, a feature that provides personalized updates.
Both tiers include extra Gemini access and are not included with standard Google One Basic or Premium plans.
