Hellmann Names Jens Drewes as New CEO to Lead Next Phase of Growth

Hellmann, the global logistics company, has announced that Jens Drewes will succeed Reiner Heiken as its CEO at the end of the month. Drewes brings 27 years of experience, including senior management roles in Asia and Australia at Kuehne + Nagel.

Drewes, who previously served as Managing Director for the Asia region at Kuehne + Nagel, plans to build on Heiken's foundation and further develop Hellmann with the international management team. Heiken, who has been at the helm for over five years, has strengthened Hellmann's position and set its course for the future.

Despite a €1.5 billion drop in sales in 2023 due to normalising freight rates post-pandemic, Hellmann maintained stable order volumes at around 20 million shipments. The company also expanded its market position in Airfreight and Seafreight divisions, and experienced international growth in its Contract Logistics division.

Drewes, with his extensive experience in global logistics, is set to lead Hellmann into its next phase of growth. He will build on Heiken's legacy, who has played a crucial role in Hellmann's success over the past five years.
