Hexagon Expands Partnership with Bass Tool for Faster Metrology Solutions in South Texas and Louisiana

Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence division in the Americas has bolstered its presence in the region by expanding its partnership with Bass Tool, a leading provider of tooling, inspection, and metrology solutions based in Houston, Texas. The collaboration has seen significant growth since early 2025, delivering metrology solutions and localized technical support.

The partnership, which has been growing since early 2025, has led to improved service call lead times and delivery timelines for local manufacturers. Bass Tool, representing Hexagon's full metrology product line portfolio across South Texas and Southern Louisiana, offers contract inspection services. This allows smaller manufacturers to validate parts without owning a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).

Bass Tool's recent 2025 Product Catalog features over 2,000 pages of products, with 30+ pages dedicated to metrology. The company provides in-depth training, inspection programs, and setup videos to help customers enhance their quality assurance and measurement techniques. Furthermore, Bass Tool offers 2-3 days of free on-site support with every system sold and multiple weeks of training for complex implementations.

The expanded partnership between Hexagon and Bass Tool addresses long-standing gaps in the region, ensuring faster equipment deployment and shorter service lead times. It underscores Hexagon's commitment to expanding its footprint across North America through trusted, technically capable regional partners like Bass Tool.
