House fitted with security cameras following prosecutor's meddling
In a significant move towards enhancing security and safety, a video surveillance system has been installed at the "Complex Center for Social Services" nursing home in the village of Novy Akaty, located within the Alexandrov-Zavodsky District.
The decision to install the video surveillance system was made by the director of the nursing home, with the recommendation coming from the local prosecutor's office. Prior to this installation, there was no video surveillance around the perimeter of the state institution.
The installation process was completed without delay, ensuring the necessary equipment was put in place after the prosecutor's intervention. The installation was reported in the regional prosecutor's Telegram channel, further highlighting the importance of this step.
The installation of the video surveillance system is expected to provide a safer environment for the residents of the nursing home, as well as staff members, by deterring potential incidents and aiding in the investigation of any untoward occurrences.
This development marks a positive step towards ensuring the welfare and safety of those residing in state institutions, and it is hoped that similar measures will be implemented in other similar facilities across the region.
