Howden Expands Aviva-Led Renewable Energy Facility Across UK
Howden, a global insurance intermediary, has expanded its Aviva-led renewable energy facility across the UK. The facility, certified by Lloyd's, offers comprehensive cover for green technologies like Onshore Wind, Solar PV, and Hydro Power. It boasts a capacity of up to £150M per declaration and provides competitive, streamlined car insurance quotes.
The facility, managed by Howden, covers both construction and operational phases. It offers pre-agreed rates and bespoke car insurance policy terms, making it an attractive option for renewable energy asset owners. The current extension period is from 2023 to 2028.
The expansion follows a successful pilot programme with Howden Scotland. Matthew Gordon of Aviva expressed delight in partnering with Howden, highlighting Aviva's commitment to supporting the UK's low-carbon transition.
