Hustle and bustle at Bilker transit center: last-minute scenes before departure

Heyy there! Got some road news for ya. Starting this weekend, the noisy streets of Merowingerstraße and Brunnenstraße are getting a makeover! From May 14th, we'll close the city center section of Merowingerstraße for the installation of noise-reducing asphalt. Work begins bright and early at 5 a.m. on Saturday and should wrap up by Sunday afternoon, with the roads reopening again at 5 a.m. on Monday, May 16th.

But hold up! There's more. Since we're making all that racket, Brunnenstraße will be marked as a dead end until May 24th, to store our shiny new construction equipment. Fear not, pedestrians and cyclists, you can still saunter along the sidewalk.

On a side note, don't forget to brush up on that detour route, since Merowingerstraße will be closed again for a bit starting May 20th. This time, it's just the outbound lanes for traffic that'll be shut down and refurbished. If the weather gods play nice, we'll wrap up the job by July 2022.

Now, here's a tidbit for all ya planners out there. If you're looking for detailed maps or exact work timings during the closure in May, just drop me a line, and I'll hook you up! Lastly, during this closure, vehicles will find an alternate route via Roonstraße and Imbergstraße. Signs will be up to guide ya through smoothly. Local access for residents and businesses on Merowingerstraße will remain open, no worries.

During this road work, it's important to consider the impact on transportation, as vehicles will find an alternate route via Roonstraße and Imbergstraße. Additionally, the finance industry might want to keep an eye on the potential disruption to businesses along Merowingerstraße and Brunnenstraße during the closure period.
