In Minsk, construction of a new road commences within the vicinity of "Zhanov" locale.
In the heart of Minsk, a promising project unfolds:
On a cool March day, discussions about a potential new overpass connecting Kolesnikova Street and Ratamskaya Street were held, as reported by the Minsk City Executive Committee. This grand design is targeting to eliminate the need for residents of the western quarters to navigate the MKA to access the "Zhdanovichy" shopping center or Timiryazeva Street.
Several alternatives were proposed, and according to the head honcho of "Minskiyinzhproekt," Alexei Galkovsky, the meeting ascertained the ideal solution suitable for all parties involved. He also emphasized the importance of the railway, as it can't be halted, and this exit must operate in a two-lane configuration without any disruptions.

Interestingly, in 2024, the UGAI of the GUVD of the Minsk City Executive Committee proposed expansive plans for alleviating traffic between the city's districts. Their vision included the creation of alternative routes through residential and industrial areas, connecting streets at four points by 2030. These included the Ratamskaya - Kolesnikova connection, along with Korzhenevskogo - Chyurlenisa, Serova - Ptashuka, and Malinin - Monyushko (via Loshitsa River).

Lately, Minsk residents have endured a shift in traffic patterns in the city center, thanks to the maintenance of the overpass on Moskovskaya Street. The bridge closed on February 8, and repairs are estimated to continue until December.
Despite this major project occupying the city's road workers for the entirety of 2025, they're also readying themselves for repairs on around 10 additional structures simultaneously. These projects encompass bridges over the Svisloch River on Golodeda Street and Pulikhova Street, as well as two on Dolgobrodskaya Street - over Vaneeva Street and the Moscow-Minsk railway, and over the railway tracks on Brest-Litovskaya Street.

The Minsk City Executive Committee's UGAI plans to strategically alleviate traffic between city districts by 2030, with one focus being the creation of alternative routes, such as the Ratamskaya - Kolesnikova connection, which falls under the transportation sector. This initiative is part of a broader plan that alsoincludes connecting Korzhenevskogo - Chyurlenisa, Serova - Ptashuka, and Malinin - Monyushko (via Loshitsa River), which may require restructuring of residential and industrial areas, thereby impacting both the industry and finance sectors. Additionally, the finance sector may be involved in the funding and management of these extensive urban development projects.
