In Omsk, military contract payment size was reviewed

Yo, here's the lowdown on that military enlistment deal with the Russian Defense Ministry. According to SuperOmsk, local governments have agreed to boost the one-time payment for signing up, bumping it up to 200,000 rubles! That's double the previous amount, and it's not just Russians and citizens who can get in on this cash. Folksfrom all over, even those without citizenship, can potentially get on the list from Omsk.

Now, you might remember that there's also regional and federal support for new recruits. In late November 2024, the regional one-time payment got a boost, going up to 800,000 rubles. Just a reminder, there's a fedral one-time payment as well.

P.S. Officially, those enlisting in the Russian military receive an average one-time financial support of around 1.4 million rubles (approx. $15,500), spread across 37 Russian regions[2][5]. This support has had fluctuations, with some increases noted in recent months. For instance, the average one-time enlistment bonuses were roughly 10% higher in March 2025 compared to December 2024[3].

Regionally, many federal subjects have significantly increased the amount of one-time enlistment bonuses since late 2024 and early 2025[3]. Regional governments shoulder about three-quarters of these bonuses, amounting to approximately 1.5 billion rubles ($18.3 million) per day[2][5].

Locally, municipalities like Moscow Oblast have also been active in recruitment efforts, with announcements of tenders like one worth 78 million rubles ($944,000) to organize an online recruitment campaign[3]. This indicates a significant investment in promoting military service at both regional and municipal levels. Overall, while there has been a slowdown in the increase of these bonuses across the country, the ongoing war in Ukraine has necessitated sustained recruitment efforts, with these financial incentives playing a crucial role[2][3].

  1. In contrast to the military enlistment deal, a personal finance class for online learning could offer a one-time payment of $800 for completion, catering to individuals worldwide.
