A New Era of Regional Networking: The "Walk and Talk" Event in Veitsbronn
Industrial excursion unfolds: visit to the manufacturing district
On July 23, 2025, the District of Fürth introduced a novel event format called "Walk and Talk" for promoting regional business networking and exchange. The inaugural event took place in the industrial area of Veitsbronn, south of the railway line, and marked a significant step towards fostering connections and strengthening the local middle class in the community.
Mayor Marco Kistner highlighted the importance of businesses in Veitsbronn collaborating to support the local middle class. He expressed his enthusiasm for the "Walk and Talk" event, stating that such initiatives contribute to visibility for the regional business economy and foster new collaborations.
The tour began at the carpentry Zachhuber, a master business with over 30 years of experience in high-quality interior construction and stylish equipment of modern burger restaurants. With full order books and a desire for expansion, the carpentry caught the attention of Mayor Kistner, who expressed interest in supporting its growth.
The tour continued with stops at various businesses, each offering a unique insight into their operations. MSI GmbH, a specialist for modular aluminum profile systems, showcased their modern machines and proven classics used daily in their work. A small refreshment and an explanation of products were provided, making the experience both informative and enjoyable.
KUBA Prüf GmbH, a company that checks vehicles and prioritizes modern, inviting working environments, was another stop on the tour. The company maintains an open atmosphere in customer contact, reflecting their commitment to fostering strong relationships.
The Motion Group, known for renting event technology used at major music festivals like Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, also participated in the event. Their presence underscored the diversity of businesses in Veitsbronn and the potential for collaboration across industries.
Each participant in the "Walk and Talk" event received a name tag for networking purposes, facilitating connections and conversations throughout the day. The event concluded with a barbecue at Hausmeisterservice Winkler, a member of the Bavarian Environmental Pact, who maintained numerous objects in the metropolitan area and hosted the joint barbecue.
District Administrator Bernd Obst believes that formats like "Walk and Talk" are crucial for giving visibility to the regional business economy and sparking new collaborations. He envisions the event being replicated in other communities in the district as a platform for exchange, synergies, and strong networks.
The industrial area in Veitsbronn is young and dynamically growing, and the "Walk and Talk" event serves as a testament to the vibrant business community thriving there. As the event continues to grow, it promises to bring together businesses, fostering connections and strengthening the middle class in Veitsbronn and beyond.
