UBS Asset Management Appoints Amanda Rebello as Head of ETF and Index Fund Sales

Amanda Rebello, with extensive experience in active and passive ETFs, has been appointed as the new Head of ETF and Index Fund Sales at UBS Asset Management (UBS AM). This change will take effect on September 16, 2025, marking the beginning of Rebello's tenure at the global asset management company [1][2][3][5].

Rebello is succeeding Clemens Reuter, who is retiring from UBS AM after a 15-year tenure. During his time at the company, Reuter held the position of head of ETF and index fund sales. To ensure a smooth transition and maintain momentum, particularly following the launch of UBS AM's first Active ETF and the development of its Core ETF range, Rebello will work with Reuter during a transition period [4].

The Core ETF range developed by UBS AM spans both equities and fixed income, reflecting the company's commitment to diversified investment options. This move is seen as a step towards accelerating UBS AM's growth in the ETF sector, as suggested by André Mueller's comment [6]. Mueller, head of client coverage at UBS AM, expressed confidence in Rebello's ability to take the business to the next level.

Rebello will be based in London and report directly to Mueller. She will also join UBS AM's Client Coverage Management Forum. Prior to joining UBS AM, Rebello held senior roles at DWS and BlackRock. At DWS, she led Xtrackers Sales for the US onshore market. At BlackRock, she was responsible for ETF-linked structured product and derivatives sales across Europe, Middle East, and Africa within the iShares division [1][2].

This appointment reflects UBS AM’s strategic intent to grow its ETF and index fund business globally with Rebello's leadership [1]. The company manages USD 823 billion in invested assets within its ETF and index fund segment.

Amanda Rebello will now be overseeing the ETF and Index Fund Sales at UBS Asset Management, a role that requires expertise in both finance and asset management. Assets under management within UBS AM's ETF and index fund segment currently amount to USD 823 billion, highlighting the significance of Rebello's leadership in expanding the business globally.
