Despite the foul tone, this comment stirs up a passionate response from users. Some accuse Livinthatlife of supporting a convicted felon, while others argue that Trump is destructive to the country.

@Rassalas STFU and wtf is a "hirt". Keep supporting a literal convicted felon that could give two shits about you. You're seeing how much groceries are going up and how the livelihoods of hardworking Americans are disappearing, and you're still defending him. Guess what, you're the idiot. Also, it's sense not since. Fool...

"I've had local maga explain that if I can't handle it, close." Still after all this time I'm stunned when I read shit like this. People who work hard and contribute to society, and maga still attacks them because their savior can't be wrong.

  • nastyknight6847 hours agoshould have seen it coming, I know some ppl who imported from India instead

All MAGA are ignorant nasty asses

Trump will go down in history as the president who broke America and lost WW3.

While Vance goes around repeating bullshit that Trump wants to hear from him, I really don't think if he was given the power he would behave anything like this. He's highly educated and he's not stupid he's just a putz who's hungry for power. Once he gets that power, who knows, anything goes. He's more than smart enough to know that you can't create an economy from scratch as a single human being. An economy is an agglomeration of billions of people around the world and it is not something that he can control or mold. He, like any other educated person, knows this. According to Trump's closest aides, Trump is functionally illiterate, so he knows nothing about the economy or economics -- or really much of anything...

Y'all all stupid

My dad voted for Trump and our political views are 180. I'm also a single mother with no child support. When we visit on the weekend (they watch my daughter while I work), I've been telling them how it's affecting me - school is no longer giving free snacks, medications not covered, etc. They're finally seeing the everyday impact this has, and he pulled me aside and said that he was going to pay for my groceries and clothes for my daughter because "it's the least I can do for voting for this." Ya think?...

  • bougiebunny142 hours ago@Rassalas as she explained -- she has a job. Are you one of those MAGA's who don't know how to read? People who are illiterate are Trump's number one demographic
  • supertraveler591 hour ago@bougiebunny14 so what kind of job do you have, sucking off the government

It is such bullshit that Trump is going around bragging about how the tariffs are bringing in billions of dollars to the US. They are not bringing in shit; they are draining the US population's pockets! But even now, his cult just laps up his lies, despite evidence they can see with their own eyes...

  • Putzik4716 hours agoPaying tariffs is patriotic 🤯
  • silkywitch4177 hours agoTrump is about war. Economic, social, military, it doesn't matter as long as it's strife and war of some sort. His mandate is to destroy. He's a master at it.
  • famousgamer22519 hours ago

Everyone should remember who is responsible for this come next election

  • silkywitch4177 hours agoHe's never leaving. It will be this way until Americans end the entire scourge of Republicans.
  • bougiebunny142 hours agoI agree. I think he's going to declare martial law before the midterms because after the midterms he won't have any power left.

The company I worked for, have been with them for 15 years, they've been in business for 45, announced on Monday they are closing up shop. We're all getting laid off at the end of the month. The tariffs on goods we imported were too much for our already tight margins. When people say build and buy American, what about all the stuff that's not American? So no more Italian olive oil? French wine? Asian spices. Like someone else said, Trump and his appointees are so rich and so far removed from everyday Americans and the impact this has. He's just fleecing small business owners and putting Americans out of work...

  • Angelica Paganelli11 hours agoTrump has been stiffing small business owners for decades.
  • cornysquid5077 hours agoIf I only had a fucking dollar for every time this clown said "build it" I'd be able to retire.

I read a comment on here from a grocery store owner that he couldn't vote for Kamala because her plan for price control was the worst policy he ever heard. Wonder how he's doing.

You voted a convicted felon idiot into office rather than an intelligent black woman

  • trendypotato77655 minutes agoConvicted felon and lunatic is correct. Intelligent woman is very very questionable. And no I did not vote for either.

#17 They want us to "buy American", cool. The problem is that there's almost zero manufacturing done here! We can't buy American if we're not MAKING American! It would take 1-2 years just to construct the manufacturing facilities we would need!

  • cutefish7122 hours agoTry 8-10 years for the types of manufacturers to all be in place before things start entering the marketplace. Remember, first you to acquire the land (NIMBY), then design the project and get it approved, then order the machinery that will be used in the building you have yet source the building materials for all at an inflated cost due to the fact that much of these items must come from overseas...
  • singingeachtoeach2 hours agoAmerican manufacturers are getting hit too. Can't buy from sources that don't exist.

Is this just an elaborate scam for Trump and co to make more $$? Like where is this tariff money going to?

  • cornysquid5077 hours agoIt's a great big con-don.
  • singingeachtoeach2 hours agoIt's probably going into his pocket, since he doesn't seem to think the "poor" should have any.

Trump is going to ruin America. I don't understand why somebody who's had everything he ever wanted growing up can be such a cruel fucking piece of shit. I can't wait till this man dies.

  • silkywitch4177 hours agoHe invited the worst of the worst to live inside himself, now he's capable of all gross indecency because only grossness runs him.

My grocery bill last month was $160. When I went grocery shopping a couple of days ago, it was $220! If it goes any higher next month, I won't get the things I need! Can't tell you how pissed off I am.

  • cornysquid5077 hours ago

@valkyriedf This year is looking to be a little rough for you food wise

  • singingeachtoeach2 hours agoReminds me of the UK when Brexit started....if you take a broad view of things, it doesn't make sense but the everyday person is the one who suffers.

When prices get to high people will stop spending. Businesses will close, people will lose their jobs and then we will have a recession. It's taken 40 years of free trade to get us where we are. All that manufacturing that has been relocated in those 40 years is not going to return overnight. Lots of those jobs that left don't even exist anymore. We are in one hell of a pickle...

  • smartcoach3876 hours ago

For the last century the recessions and the Great Depression had to be straightened out by getting the Democrats back into power. While the Republicans blame them for not fixing their messes fast enough.

  • icymagazine4915 hours ago

If only we can get people to stop buying things, maybe the prices will come down some. It makes no sense that they put tariffs on cheap internals and don't have tariffs on meat and produce and such that we all need!

  • silkywitch4177 hours agoTRS are just greedy and ignorant to the masses. They prey on the bad in man, his self-loathing, fear, insecurity. The Republican Party is full of bottom-feeding sharks. I can see why they chant- "Were gonna win again"
  • cornysquid5077 hours agoSadly, it still takes hitting the poorest of the poor to make the Repubs realize they are fucking things up even more. And even then.... "Magats" will start the chant of"I'm so tired of winning!"
