Krasnodar Region Boosts Industry with 17 Import-Substituting Projects by 2025
The Krasnodar Region, led by Governor Veniamin Kondratyev, is boosting its industrial sector with a series of import-substituting projects. Ten such productions have launched in the past three years, with seven more planned by 2025. These initiatives aim to produce goods previously imported, supporting sectors like machine tool, medicine, and energy.
Key projects include the reconstruction of a Belorechensky District factory now producing special thread for sock production. Meanwhile, the Starominsky District has localized production of reaper components. The Seversky District has seen the launch of a plant for amorphous silicon dioxide and a complex for producing cartridge system components.
Planned projects add to this momentum. Other initiatives include a glass recycling plant in Krasnodar and steel furniture hardware production in the Belorechensky District. By 2025, the region aims to launch production of brake discs in Armavir and photoelectric converters for space use.
Governor Kondratyev's support for high-tech enterprises is transforming the Krasnodar Territory's industrial landscape. With ten successful import-substituting projects and seven more planned, the region is set to increase its production capabilities and reduce dependence on imports.
