Real Estate Titan Lists 24-Acre San Jose Property for Sale, Abandons Housing Efforts
A prominent real estate firm, previously known as Boston Properties and now operating under the name BXP, has announced the sale of a substantial 24-acre site in San Jose, originally intended for development as a tech campus.
BXP revealed Thursday that they have put the prime property in north San Jose up for sale. Additionally, the company has shelved their recent pursuit of constructing housing units on seven acres of the property.

In related developments, Valley Oak Partners is working on an apartment complex spanning nearly ten acres at 211-281 River Oaks Parkway, transforming the area into a mid-density neighborhood with 737 apartments. This project includes both market-rate and affordable housing units.
Meanwhile, a site for a 23-story student housing tower in San Jose has been approved and is listed for sale at $35 million, although the identity of the real estate developer remains unclear.
